"Accelerating translational healthcare by leveraging big data and machine learning"

Held as part of the Universitas Gadjah Mada Annual Scientific Conferences (UASC 2023) series, the 5th International Conference on Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, and Biomedical Engineering (BioMIC 2023) provides an ideal academic platform for researchers to present the latest research findings and describe emerging technologies and directions in bioinformatics, biotechnology, and biomedical engineering.

This year, the conference will take the theme “Accelerating translational healthcare by leveraging big data and machine learning” with five symposia: Big Data for Public Health Policy symposium; Bioinformatics and Data Mining symposium; Biomedical Sciences and Engineering symposium; Biomolecular and Biotechnology symposium; and Drug Development and Nutraceutical symposium.

BioMIC 2023 receives manuscripts of original research, review article, and case report.

Selected papers that has been presented will be submitted for possible inclusion to journals/proceedings that are indexed by Scopus/Clarivate Analytics/DOAJ: BIO Web of Conferences (Scopus), Medical Journal of Malaysia (Regular issue, Scopus Q3), Malaysian Journal of Medicine & Health Sciences (Supplementary issue, Scopus Q4), Indonesian Journal of Biotechnology (Scopus Q4), Journal of Tropical Biodiversity and Biotechnology (Scopus Q4), Indonesian Journal of Pharmacy (Scopus Q3), Indonesian Biomedical Journal (Scopus Q3), Traditional Medicine Journal (Scopus).
